Btw, his loot is really so shity that he doesn't deserve to be killed doing event - not just burning down. Loot is fucking WORSER than Modfrost has. Same runes that drop in hard mode instances... Only that is good. Nothing more.
You'd better talk to developer to upgrade his loot or make unique one - like CMM/Tangrin/avatar's had... Make uniqie runes or something...

Regardless of whether there's a competition for it, they killed the fucking mob and are perfectly deserving of credit for that.
Everyone here knows they killed it, everyone here knows it got despawned. Why are we keeping the events off the list?

If you're gonna argue about whether mobs were killed the way the designer intended them to be killed then kolskeggr and eireen and kraytoc should all be removed from progression until after GU60 when guilds can prove they can kill them the way they were intended to be killed.
The fact that soren was despawned is moot because the only difference between that and the other mobs here is the amount of time guilds had to exploit them in their broken form. In the case of kolskeggr it was weeks instead of days.
Should just make a separate list of guilds that actually kill these mobs once SoE fixes their game mechanics. That would be the most fair and accurate way to track which guilds are actually killing the mobs and a better representation of progression.
Don't really understand why you think that after GU60 something will change a lot. 30% debuffs instead of 50%? After all the raid get hard mode stuff from killable mobs - the DPS will increase (it is increasing right now) and 70% of mob's HP would be burned down like 50% now or few weeks ago.
They really need to change scripts to intend players doing events - pop of adds right after mob's pulled, make events pop up after 20 sec after pull - not 60, etc...
I'd say Roger has to finish Drunder so he doesn't have time to worry about people bypassing his scripts.
But they should be at #1 on the list regardless of what happens when the mob comes back, plain and simple.
Sure the designer didn't intend for 30% of its health to be debuffed, thank god that's not the way they designed the whole xpac. Oh wait...
