I got completely fucking raped on the thrid floor trial last night...im not talking ran them around for 40sec till i died im talking they spawned and they went "fuck you widem your getting stakes tonight nigga!"

Has anyone tried with an illusionist? Wonder whether they can be charmed or mezzed?

Well,

1st Floor: Conj just beat it. We finally got the scout one last week and I (ranger) beat the 1st floor without a problem still at 80% health.

2nd Floor: Our defiler and SK just mess this dude up no problem. No scout/mage yet.

3rd Floor: Our Defiler owned the mob, he had like 90% power left. Our SK and Monk also beat the fighter one quite easily. Again no mage/scout yet.

Don't see how there is a btter choice than a defiler for the prist one, power is never an issue, if your defiler is dieing...wtf. And for the time thing, I dunno, our defiler uses some spear cant remember what its called and it takes him under a min.

our Inquisitor easily owned 1st and 2nd floors, zerker did all 3 without problems, brigand did 1st and 3rd without problems too. Last time I did 2nd floor, well lot's of kiting but nothing hard

I don't know about mana cloak but I know soul ward will work without breaking the encounter as long as it lands before the player gets close to the NPC.

I was wondering about that, but haven't tried it yet in case it broke the encounter. Thanks for the info.

We use the mystic. He's dps specced, and just rips through them without any trouble.

We havent dont third floor yet but

1st Floor: Conj and Fury won without issues
2nd Floor: Brig won without issues

Had a conjuror whip the 2nd floor until he forgot and cast animated dagger which broke the challenge immediately. Ouch. That is just a stupid bug in the encounter.
