    Default Cheeron question

Is his heal avoidable at all? It seemed like he was healing 6-8% every 30-45seconds.. my guild is a pvp guild on the qeynos side so we dont have huge dps numbers . I was just curious cause one fight it seemed like his heal healed alot less. My guild has killed both vampires. Im guessing the heal is just more noticable cause our guild has lower dps then the average raiding guild eh

yes he has a heal. only time we address it is to make sure the heal is not due during the brun at 10%. If it is close we wait for the heal then proceed as normal.

Last night we had the heal fire at 10%.... damn it was a close fight but we still killed him in time; *just*. If you can time the heal do so and slow dps if needs be if the heal looks like its gonna land ~ 10%.

So its possible if he heals but makes iot a bit harder.

    Hiya,

No is the answer to your question. You cannot avoid the heal on Cheroon like you can with Vishwin. Viswin's heal is based on his AoE so using AoE blockers stops the heal. Cheroon just does it anyway. YOu need to go to Somborn village in Loping plains and pick up a "heartwood stake". It hits these guys for massive damage if they are below 6% health. Have everyone do steady DPS towards 11% then have the SK or druid dispel the damage shield. Everyone should use all their big hits and nuke the crap out of it. The person with the stake should be a utility class as they will be spamming the stake so that it starts casting as soon as it is possible to cast. They are no-trade so have that person buy em.

Also, have everyone is the raid remove any gear that procs stun/stifles that effect epics and tell them not to use stun/stifle attacks. That way you can give yourself an extra few seconds by using Enchanter to stun then stifle the mob when he is aboutto cast his heal. Dont forget inquisitor can use Verdict at 2%. Good luck

Oh, I just read your post again. Are you askng about the healing he does along the way to 10% ? If so, he does this by AoE. Magic to be precise. If your DPS is low, try banning temp pets and fight him as ranged as possible.

If you're talking about the heal he does once he reaches 10% and does his script... the best way to prevent it is to have your chanter count 2 or 3 seconds and then stifle, then stun, then mez even at the end.... you can prolong the cast of the epic, and hopefully get him dead before he heals. Not a gaurantee though
