Default MMIS

During a Mayong battle in MMIS i noticed that he was going down a hell of alot slower.. i checked his Blanket of Eternal Night spell and relized one of the effects is "Heals caster for 2.0%". Is this new? I thought only contested mayong had this effect. After the fight... in which we wiped due to no power because of cure changes, couple of our guys mentioned getting charmed, which i thought was also a contested mayong only thing... did they uber MMIS mayong up?

i thought after our fight with him today they had dumbed it down, seemed like the AE didn't hit very hard at all. it didn't even kill my mage pet (without AE immunity up) as long as i kept it back. i didn't really check any numbers but the AE atleast seemed a lot weaker and i didn't really notice anything else different.

Hes definately not beefed up the heal and the charm have always been there. Mayong himself doesn't actually charm however.

After AEs are called we can usualy take him down pretty fast, we were missing 1 dps and a troub, shouldmt have made a difference i think.. for whatever reason he was hitting twice as hard and would seem to gain as many hps as we took him down... no player deaths. Perhaps it was just us.

we had some trouble with him last week right after the cure change. went in again tonnight with some potions and he was no problem. his blanket of the eternal night healed him for like 500k total.... which is not a big deal at all.

No, they nerfed him. They took away instanced Mayong's delevel, and replaced it with a debuff. However, Blanket of Eternal night heals him 2% every time he casts it, and it drains power and health every tick. The only difference is that it's not as easy to cure off your whole party.

Are you a moron cochy? What do you mean the charm isnt there but mayong doesn't do it. Clearly you dont know how the encounter works, so you should shut your mouth ... do you recognize "You exist to serve me". The charm is there you idiot.

Unless it works out that it's the adds that charm, or if the charm is triggered by the adds being up when he says the dialogue. Then Cochy may have a point.

I thought Touch was a bit like dispatch? delevel being the stat debuff then a damage component attached to it. And now it is just the damage component, maybe I'm wrong... But I'm sure thats the only reason touch could be picked up by ACT was by the damage component.

Yes, Blanket always had a 2% heal per person that died.
