Plane of Fear
It's coming, even though nothing official yet as far as I've seen. But how do I know it's coming? Go try to do the AFK walk through portal trick, and you'll notice it doesn't work anymore. Instead you are greeted with the fact that it says this zone is unavailable.
The real question is, if it's a raid zone, is it going to be basically impossible for people at Level 70 to beat? Because it needs to be, otherwise we're going to end up with a joke of a raid zone come Kunark. Which basically means it'll be wasted content as if it were to come out today, there'd be 4 months of it. Then it'd be never really used again. All I can say is, make it hard, make it impossible for Level 70. Design it so that Level 80s have an easy time of breaking into the zone, that's right I said breaking into the zone. As in zoning in.
Also, I hope it's not instanced, and the nearest revive point is outside of the zone. Yes, I want this shit to be hard as hell, no zerging possible, if you revive, you're fucked, because there's no way you're going to be able to zone in and get CotH'd, as the raid mobs right inside will tear your sorry little ass to pieces. Oh, and that reminds me, make the respawn on trash fairly long, but not too long. And make the named respawn based on how easy/hard they are and the loot that drops relative to them. Also, make it so that you can't camp somebody in the zone at each named to tell when it respawns. This raid zone should not be as short as EH is without the trials. It should be long, I'm talking 10 hours to reach the end if you clear every named. There should obviously be ways around the named and some trash if you are going for a specific named. But it should not be short, it should be long.
Yes, I want this zone to be fucking hard. And I hope it's not another heroic zone, because it would not make sense for the Plane of Fear to be a heroic zone.

I'd also love to see this zone be x4, and in terms of relative difficulty, as hard for a raid as Nizara was for a group when TFD launched. And I agree with Pinski, tune it for T8 hard please. It would still be cool to be launched before Kunark with T8 tuning, people could go in and get wtfpwned, and the race to WW1st the zone after Kunark came out would be on. That would be extremely cool.

There'd be no multi-day raiding ever(well, unless of course you raided all that time straight, or had enough on to keep the trash clear the entire night, in which case you should be allowed to do it, since you're still raiding the entire night!), considering trash respawns, and there is no safe places unless you clear them. Which basically means you're fucked.

We were there as a full raid, not for PoF of course, but when someone would go to the portal it said "cannot have more than 6 members in your group". So that is scary, it could end up being a group instance, or that could mean absolutley nothing.

Could be because they've only put the zone layout in, but who knows, if it's a heroic instance, fuck this game.

People want this game more like EQ1 in some areas of it, and well Plane of Fear is one of the most high profile raid zones from EQ1. You died on zone-in, you took forever to clear around it, unless you exploited. You also had no idea what nameds were up, unless you used MacroQuest. So basically, less exploiting, and more clearing. And also remember, I'm saying 10 hours for a full clear of a contested zone. You don't have to clear the entire zone if you don't have the time, you can skip around killing a named here or there. Plus, we're talking about mobs so hard, that it'll probably take people 10 hours to kill the first named at Level 70, at least.
