he mentioned "huge zones" several times, i bet he was talkn about raid zone as well
why would you add this feature for just one zone? there must be other zones like EH in ROK

"Huge zones" is in reference to their new chunking system. Basically, all kunark zones are divided into "chunks" with no load time, but very different textures, mood, etc. Thus, the zone itself is very, very big.
I haven't heard if this is applied to raid instances, but I'd doubt it. It'd be capital inefficient to devote the resources it would take to fill a large zone like that to raid content. Unless it were to be filled with copy-pasted trash mobs...

how much you wanna bet they are only gonna release 3 raid zones with the expansion and just make one easy-medium and another hard-super hard and both are ultra long, and then have something like thex castle style and current avatar level. i will laugh though if they put in contested that are the same as an instanced mob and if they try and put em all in one zone and make it an uber epic contested zone. not that i wouldnt mind it! would be a change from the random shit. just dont make it like ToS FOR GOD SAKE

Re: (from E3) so as of RoK, you can save your progress inside a zone eh?
I would love to see a 3 day raid zone where it was something similar to EH. But I would really like it to be more open, and I'll use BB as the example. All they would need to do is add around 20+ named in that zone, shit load of roaming mobs, quests, puzzels, traps, etc.
Getting tired of raid zones with rooms, halls, and walls.

Re: (from E3) so as of RoK, you can save your progress inside a zone eh?
i read abot at least 3 dragons from one of their other products (EQLive perhaps) returning.
I think its a good idea to remove lockouts and make the zones maintain state for as long as the old lockout time was.
I am sure a number of people have their vaginas all bent out of shape because alot more people will be able to complete the content now and get the same shineys they are wearing. Lost count of how many really good players I have encountered who dont raid because of time constraints.. this will help those players who otherwise would be raiding if they had the time complete content.
Works for me. Sony finally woke up to the fact that 95% of their subscribers werent seeing alot of the content until it green'd out if it required more than 1 or 2 groups.

I swear to god if we get more clone zones like SoS/ToS/HoS/Lyceum/Harla Dar or AoA/PoA I'm going to hunt someone down with a pitchfork.

I'd almost guarantee you get a few for a few reasons. From a role-playing perspective, when people build things they are going to use similar architecture if it was built in the same time frame. From a developer stand point it is much more cost effective and leaves more time for other things (hopefully like interesting encounters in the zone).

Yeah, I am looking forward to Veeshan's peak. He said in the video that it will be boss fight after boss fight. Hopefully they can get it right.
