The funny thing, I think, would be that even if their problems were appeased, they'd still complain that the endgamers got the better end of the deal. At that point, all I would be able to say is "shut the fuck up".
The problem is, Level 20 has 2 contesteds, and an x4 raid zone already, Level 30 has 2 contesteds as well, and an x2 raid zone, probably more. Along with Level 40s have 3 contesteds, an x2 raid zone, isn't ther emroe as well? And we all know what Level 50 and 60s have.

What are their problems? That's what I'd like to see enumerated. I want to know what their problems are. I bet #1 on the list goes something like this:

1) OMG all the root nodes in T6 are taken!

There is 0 need or use for lower level raid content at all.

If your a raider, the game starts at 70. Period. There is no level 50 for the raider profession because nobody gives a fuck about lower end content. New, bigger, better is all that matters to a raider.

If your not a raider, why do you need MORE content than what already exsists for those level rangs? There are no level 30 players with their xp turned off camping Coldtooth. NONE.

The lower levels have more raid content than gets used at all. Anymore is a complete waste of resources.

That's only a minority compare to the rest though. Better to cater for the magority than the minority.

Aye, thats why SOE is trying to make this game so casual. For majority. Raiders (*hardcore* raiders) are just about 2-4% of total population.

And there is enough level 50 raid content to last longer than any other tier so far in game. So whats your point?

I can sympathize with a lot of the non-raid design rationale (intended and otherwise) of the x-pack even if it leaves us feeling shorted at the level cap.

Nobody should have to spend a minute of their grind in that pure desolate hell known as Pillar of Flames, or the depressing hole in the wall known as Fallen Gate. It is a fabulous thing that there are now colorful alternatives to those. And regarding the fae... well, I suppose there is much I'm not allowed to say but I am pleasantly surprised and I understand that content needs to be there to bridge them with the rest of the game.

At this point my frustration with the devs isn't that there isn't enough content total (because there is!) but that there isn't enough content for you and me. Before anyone put a single foot in beta, we all knew that EoF would be thinly spread from T1-T7.

I have to say this again and again until somebody actually listens: excessive tiering is what brought us to this difficult place. The farther players have to climb to reach what we call our "end-game" domain, the more inertia they will build through the spread to anchor the devs' attention away from us.

I don't even know if what I'm saying is relevant to this thread but I figure my thoughts had best be recorded somewhere.

Going from the article, it looks like they have a lvl 55 x4 contested...

---------------------------

After walking around the outdoor zone we went into modern day Ak’Anon, now known as Klak’Anon, again this is the city of machines. Our faithful tour guide told us that they tried to keep this zone’s layout similar to the original, so it feels somewhat familiar. There are lots of robots flying around with scary death gazes, so needless to say it’s a cool zone – surprisingly lag free with all of that animation. Also here is where we witnessed our first raid mob,a giant mechanical thing, and I’m going off memory here but I believe he was lvl 55 x4.

-------------------

I do not know if the new Ak'Anon is instanced or not (for sure) but from what I read, it looks like it is an open zone...

I do not know why they would add t6 contest, just seems stupid imo... There is plenty out there now...
